Foundation Learning is a community-based education and human services organisation based in Narre Warren. The project involved the refurbishment of four areas within the main building.

These areas included a new Commercial kitchen complete with new stainless-steel benches, stainless steel splashbacks and an upgraded stove exhaust hood including extensive floor repairs, wall repairs and finishes throughout to compliant with today’s regulations.

A refurbishment of the existing amenities allowed for better circulation and functionality. New wall tiling, new vinyl flooring and automated upgraded flushing systems and upgrading the ventilation system increased the user experience.

Lunch and Meeting rooms received a refresh with new floor coverings, new joinery for kitchenettes, painting to walls and ceilings, and new heating and cooling systems that increased the comfort of users.

The Casey City Council have particular social procurement requirements that Black Sheep complied with. A Financial Risk Assessment that confirmed Black Sheep’s capacity and viability was undertaken. An independent Council appointed Analyst – Equifax oversaw the review. Black Sheep was happy to provide current financial statements and accounting information to satisfy credit requirements.
