Melbourne Zoo Keeper Kidz

Upgrade of existing amenities and parent room facilities.  Architect designed by Plico transformed a dated non-functional area into a modern warm environment while accommodating DDA access in design.  Sustainably sourced local goods and services was an important tender requirement that was seen through to completion.    The new space provided a dedicated baby change room where parents could retreat for a private and comfortable experience.

Working within Zoo has all the restrictions that would be imagined from contractor security, programmed deliveries, environmental spillages and over flows, noise restrictions and event based shut downs.  All these items where carefully planned with pre construction strategy plans and method statements that where provided.
